Pune: Vighneshwara Education Society’s International School of Management and Research (ISMR B-School) recently held its 11th induction ceremony.
The induction comprised of students belonging to postgraduate programmes namely Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM-AICTE Approved) and Master of Business Administration (MBA-Affiliated of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The induction ceremony will be followed by a week-long induction programme that will unfold the academic journey for students in the years ahead.
Jaikishanji Bhutada, Founder President of Vighneshwara Education Society, inaugurated the session by lighting the lamp, followed by a welcome address by Dr Manju Punia Chopra, Director, ISMR Pune. In her welcome address, she spoke about the culture of International School of Management and Research (ISMR), which gives emphasis only to merit and has a 360-degree learning by doing approach. Talking about facing challenges and setting rules of life, Dr Sunil Gupte - Director, Savy Software Pvt Ltd and Chief Mentor at FIGmd India Pvt Ltd, in his inaugural address emphasised on learning through three Es, which are Experience, Exposure and Environment.
The second session started with an address from Ambrish Kanungo, Global Head HR @ New Vision Software, Pune, who said that one should have multiple views on a subject. The keynote address was delivered by Dr Nilesh Bhutada, Managing Trustee of ISMR B School.
