PUNE: Bringing together renowned business authors from all over the world, the first-of-its-kind ‘India Business Literature Festival’ (IBLF) will be organised at College of Engineering, Pune (CoEP) on October 13.

The initiative was conceptualised by Sameer Dua, Founder Director and renowned business author, Aruna Katara of Hope Foundation and Anurag Batra, President and Editor-in-Chief of Businessworld.

“Business literature is very rarely discussed in any of the literary festivals, which is why we decided to give this a platform of our own. IBLF will fill this gap and we intend to provide a platform to the new publications in business, management and leadership,” Dua, who is the chief curator of the festival, said.

Katara added, “There is no other platform like IBLF for authors writing and discussing theories and trends about business. The programme has been formed on the basis of TedX and each author will get a time period of 18 minutes to present their ideas.”

Batra stated that the festival has been getting a great response from authors and publications and many renowned authors might be present at the event.

Many eminent people like Dr Raghunath Mashelkar, Pratap Pawar of Sakal Media Group, Dr BB Ahuja, Director and Professor, CoEP, Ganesh Natrajan of Global Talent Tract and Radhakrishnan Pillai of Chanakya International Institute of Leadership Studies have provided their backing to the festival.
