IGNOU revises eligibility condition for MBA programme

The revised eligibility conditions will now enable graduates and post graduates of Maharashtra to get enrolled in the MBA programme of IGNOU in order to fulfil their aspirations.

PUNE: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released a notification about revised eligibility conditions for admission to MBA programme approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

According to government of India rules and clearance of OPENMAT (admission test) conducted by IGNOU under the new eligibility conditions, any graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50 per cent marks for general category and 45 per cent for reserved category is eligible to apply for the MBA programme. 

Earlier, there was a condition of having a three years of supervisory experience in a firm. The duration of the programme has also been reduced from two and half years to two years only, permitting the learners to register five courses per semester. The revised eligibility conditions will now enable graduates and post graduates of Maharashtra to get enrolled in the MBA programme of IGNOU in order to fulfil their aspirations.
