Pune: Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has released the timetable for ICSE (Std X) and ISC (Std XII) Board Examination 2018. The detailed exam timetable is available on the CISCE website.

The ICSE exam is scheduled to be held from February 26 to March 28, 2018, while the ISC exam will be held from February 7 to April 2, 2018.

In ICSE, the first paper is English Language, and the examination will end with the paper of Environmental Science. The ISC board exam, which will continue for around two months, begins with the paper of Physics (Practical), and ends with the exam in Psychology.

Also, the new rule regarding drop in the ICSE and ISC pass percentages, which was supposed to be implemented from the year 2019, is now to be implemented from the examination of 2018 itself. The pass marks for the ICSE examination this year would be 33% instead of 35, and the pass percentage of ISC examination would be 35% instead of the earlier 40%.

The decision to drop the pass percentage was made in November last year in order to match it with that of CBSE, so that all the central boards in the country have uniform passing scheme.
