Gemini Cooking Oil’s plan will benefit 5k kids

PUNE: Gemini Cooking Oil, the flagship brand of Cargill’s oil business in India, announced ‘Badhte Kadam’, a three-year programme to address health and nutritional deficiencies among 5,000 adolescent school children in Kurkumbh, Maharashtra.

Through this programme, partnership with MagicBus, the company aims at increasing nutrition and health awareness among parents, teachers and youth groups. The programme was launched at SP College Grounds in Pune. 

Deputy Director, Industrial Health & Safety (DISH), Pune, Akhil Ghogare, was also present at the event.

This will help children have a high probability of completing graduation or vocational skilling and thereon moving into sustainable employment in the long run.”
