Saturday has been earmarked for senior citizens, school children and women. The institute will be open to all others on Sunday (March 25).

“Since 2016, FTII has been conducting Open Days twice a year, enabling tens of thousands of Puneites and others to see one of the world's premier film schools located in their own city. The initiative 'FTII for Pune, Pune for FTII' is an effort to strengthen the bonding between the community and the Institute. This crucible of film learning will also motivate hundreds of school children and college goers to look at films as not mere entertainment but also an art and craft,” Bhupendra Kainthola, Director, FTII Pune said.
