FTII Chairman Anupam Kher visits the campus on Friday

Kher, who is also an alumnus of FTII, took a round of the Institute accompanied by Registrar Varun Bhardwaj. He saw the new classroom theatres that are currently under construction on the Institute campus. He also uploaded a live video of his campus tour on Twitter

Pune: Renowned actor Anupam Kher who was recently appointed as the Chairperson of the Governing Council of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, visited the Institute on Friday afternoon. Kher is said to have visited the institute for official purpose only.

Kher, who is also an alumnus of FTII, took a round of the Institute accompanied by Registrar Varun Bhardwaj. He saw the new classroom theatres that are currently under construction on the Institute campus. He also uploaded a live video of his campus tour on Twitter.

 

 

While Kher said that he usually tries to interact with as many students as possible during his visits to FTII, he couldn't do so this time as the students were busy with their classes and dialogue exercise.

Kher also interacted with the labourers working on the campus, and the public visiting the campus. Kher and Bhardwaj also informed the viewers about the FTII entrance examination that is going to be held on February 18, in collaboration with the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) Kolkata.
