Four arrested by Pune police for murder of 26-year-old in Kondhwa

The injured brother, Aiysar Altaf (18) is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Pune: Four men were arrested by the Kondhwa police on Friday for killing a 26-year-old man and injuring his younger brother on Thursday near Aditansh Housing Society in Kondhwa.

The deceased, Akib Altaf, was stabbed to death by the accused, identified as Suddin Qureshi (35), Riwaz alias Yusuf Sabir Khan (36), Mohammad Pathan (32) and Javed Inamdar (44), over a minor dispute pertaing to management of the housing society.

The injured brother, Aiysar Altaf (18) is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

PI Milind Gaikwad from Kondhwa police station said, "The culprits stabbed both boys in the chest. All four accused have been arrested for murder and other offences after a complaint by the victims' father."
