Empress Garden to host 18th flower exhibition from Jan 25

Pune: Since 1998, Agro Horticulture Society of Western India every year organises the Buds N' Blooms, one of the largest and unique flower exhibitions on the beautiful precincts of the Empress Botanical Garden. The 18th edition will be held from 25th to 28th January 2018. 

Besides flower decorations, it will include decorative potted plants, cut flowers, vegetables, flower arrangements and gardens replicas. 

The models of landscapes garden created by the Pune Municipal Corporation and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will be displayed.

The models of landscapes garden created by the Pune Municipal Corporation and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will be displayed. 

The main attraction will be theme-based flower decoration. It will also showcase Japanese floral arrangements, designed by Mona Ringar and Shashi Shetty. Avalokit will display carvings made from fruits and vegetables. Bonzai trees by Sunita Shirke, Mangal will be another segment. 

A drawing competition will be conducted for children. Businessmen from the nursery field from Kolhapur, Sangli, Nashik and Andhra Pradesh will be participating in the event.
