DesignTech Systems signs MoU with IASC Sector Skill Council

PUNE: Instrumentation Automation Surveillance and Communication (IASC) Sector Skill Council, which is under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and city-based DesignTech systems  signed an MoU to provide skill training to youths recently. 

As an assessment partner and associate for IASC Sector Skill Council, DesignTech, under the terms of the MoU, will create awareness about and promote these certification courses at the existing State-funded centres of excellence managed and operated by DesignTech Systems.

Vikas Khanvelkar, Chairman and Managing Director, DesignTech Systems Ltd, said, “The Government of India with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship are introducing new initiatives and promising programmes to elevate and enhance the quality of education and skills-based training in India. Lack of industry-ready and employable manpower can regress the industry’s pace of growth, bear detrimental impact on the national GDP, while also increasing unemployment rate in the country.”

In accordance to the agreements entered into with various State governments such as Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand, DesignTech Systems has established and is executing training on latest and most advanced technologies in electro-mechanical field at more than 25 Siemens Centres of Excellence across various cities in these states. With all the centres put together, cumulatively more than 1 lakh students have benefited from the training.
