DC orders inquiry into illegal mining in Charholi
According to Chikhale, due to complete ignorance from civic officials and police, the miscreants have been emboldened and the Murum from the government land is illegally excavated and transported.
PIMPRI: Taking notice of the illegal mining activity at Charholi village on government land, District Collector (DC) Naval Kishor Ram has directed the authorities to submit a report within two days. According to MNS city unit chief Sachin Chikhale, the authorities are turning a blind eye towards illegal mining activity.
According to Chikhale, due to complete ignorance from civic officials and police, the miscreants have been emboldened and the Murum from the government land is illegally excavated and transported.
Following this, Chikhale escalated this matter to Collector Ram.
The activities were going on for last two three months. Ankush Tapkir MNS worker spotted this and raised this issue with collector. Team of revenue department officials was visited the area on saturday.
