Pune: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL) organised a four-day Mega Expo, which concluded on Wednesday, at the NCL Cricket Ground on Pashan Road. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ashwini Nangia, Director of CSIR-NCL.
Dr Prabhakar Ingle, Head of Publication and Science Communication Unit, among many dignitaries, was present for the inaugural programme.
Speaking about the objective of holding the exhibition, Nangia said, “This initiative was undertaken to spread information about the contributions of CSIR for different causes. The whole exhibition had covered twelve theme categories, which included Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Energy, Healthcare and Generics, Water, Aerospace and Strategic Sector, Agriculture and Floriculture, CSIR for Societal Interventions, Ecology and Environment, among others”.
