Confusion over provisional admission

Pune: With the release of the first merit list for Std XI (FYJC) online Centralised Admission Process (CAP), the Deputy Director of Education declared that this year, students will not be able to take provisional admission to the allotted college and then wait for the next round.

However, it is possible that the students are yet not clear about not being able to take provisional admissions. Also, while the students were supposed to check the merit list at 5 pm, it was delayed due to a glitch.

However, it is possible that the students are yet not clear about not being able to take provisional admissions. Also, while the students were supposed to check the merit list at 5 pm, it was delayed due to a glitch.

Shubhada Mohite, came to Fergusson College to check her sister’s result said, “As my sister was unable to check the list on the website, I came to the college. However, it wasn’t put up in the college too, as even they could not open the website.”

Esha Raut, who had come to Fergusson College to check her result did not know about the abortion of provisional admissions. On being informed of the change, she said, “Provisional admissions provided a kind of a security while waiting for the second round.”

Pratibha Patil, who had come to Modern College of Arts, Commerce and Science to check the college allotted to her brother, was disappointed as the list was not put up at the college due to the technical glitch in
the website.
