Pune: Continued Medico-Spiritual Education (CMSE) 2017 Festival will be organised in Pune on September 16 and 17.

CMSE 2017 Festival is an event of wellness in mind, body and spirit, curated by doctors, healers, therapists and artists, that has been designed to provide citizens with a unique opportunity to interact, learn and understand how to cure modern lifestyle illnesses through an integrated mix of natural, traditional, complementary and modern healing sciences.

The event is not only for medical practitioners and healers, but also a place for the layman to experience the best in healing practices, that can be employed for self-healing.

One of the two main highlights of the event is a powerful seminar by Darryl D’Souza, engineer, therapist and healer. D’Souza will also autograph copies of his world famous book ‘Become Healthy or Extinct’.

Another attraction of the event, ‘Project Lighthouse’ is an initiative that will showcase powerful stories of women achievers. In this event, these women leaders will honour upcoming women achievers in the ‘Women Honouring Women’ series. The event will also see the launch of women wonderful portal, which will allow women members to register their businesses for free.

“I am happy to know that TWUDHA has taken an initiative to integrate plural health practices into a holistic model involving psychological, emotional and spiritual well-being. The efforts through events on wellness in mind, body and spirit in different cities in India since 2007 are commendable. CMSE 2017 in Pune is very timely, when the world is increasingly recognising the value of AYUSH health systems.

Dr Darryl D’Souza’s prediction ‘Become Healthy or Extinct’ is very real. Future healthcare will be focused more on disease prevention, control and health protection. We need to empower people to take their health into their own hands,” Bhushan Patwardhan, Professor, Interdisci plinary School of Health Sciences and Director, Centre for Complementary and Integrative Health (CCIH), Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) said.
