Pune: A clerk working at a sub-division office in Maval was arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a complainant.
According to Superintendent of ACB Sandip Diwan, the accused, Pravin Dhamle, took the bribe through a computer operator Sandip Ghadge (28). “The complainant had handed over his land to MIDC and his compensation was pending. Dhamle demanded the bribe to get the work done.”
