City Pride School wins Best Performing School Trophy

A total of 68 students from Std VI and 24 students from Std IX participated in the competition. Out of the total, seven students from Std VI and one student from Std IX reached the final round.

PUNE: City Pride School for the second time has received the ‘Best Performing School Trophy’ for having the highest number of medals in Dr Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition which was recently conducted by Mumbai Science Teachers Association.

A total of 68 students from Std VI and 24 students from Std IX participated in the competition. Out of the total, seven students from Std VI and one student from Std IX reached the final round.

Aryan Dahiwal (Std VI) bagged the gold medal for his project ‘Construction waste’, while Pranav Aherrao (Std VI) won the silver medal. Tanishka Parab (Std VI) won the silver medal, Mangrish Madyar (Std VI) won the silver medal, Akshat Kakade (Std VI) also the silver medal, Tanush Karkhanis (Std VI) silver medal, Sara Mokashi (Std VI) silver medal and Disha Shriraskar (Std XI) silver medal. The children received the trophy from scientist Anil Kakodkar in Mumbai.
