City Pride School holds interschool competition

Pune: City Pride School organised an Interschool Event ‘Student of the Year 2017-18’ for students of Std VIII to X. Schools from Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune were the participants. 

Individual and group rounds were designed separately for each standard. Students were evaluated on various skills like problem solving, decision making, creative thinking, innovation and teamwork.

Twenty students were shortlisted for the final round where they had to face the esteemed judges one by one and answer the questions asked.

Baibhab Mishra of Std VIII was the winner of the competition and Arnav Kumbhar was the runner-up from City Pride School; Mitali Bobdey of DSK School, Std IX was the winner and Param Mahabare of GG International School was the runner up; Sankalp Dubey of City Pride School (Std X) was the winner and Shruti Bogar of DSK School was the runner-up.

The students for Team of the Year for Std VIII were from GG International School including Sarthak Pawar, Soham Chakraborty, Rakshita Nair and Varsha Matta; Team of the Year for Std IX was from DSK School including Riya Patil, Swayam Pedgaonkar, Ira Ghare and Harsh Gandhi; Team of the Year for Std X was from City International School including Muskan Rawat, Juily Pachundkar, Aditi Kulkarni and Rohan Nair.
