There is an increasing need of trained counsellors in health and mental health sectors in hospitals, at rehabilitation centres and counselling centres these days. There are many students, who want to pursue their career in these sectors. Hence, this is an opportunity for them to learn and get a diploma,” said Chetan Diwan, faculty and coordinator of the counselling course.

“Also, most of the companies now undertake CSR activities, for which they require manpower well-versed in the matter,” added Diwan. Experts and faculty from the corporate sector will conduct sessions for CSR, while experts from the fields of psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatry and other health sectors will conduct sessions for the counselling course.
