City’s first Yog Utsav to be held on Sunday

Pune: This is a first of its kind yoga festival, and the main aim is to help urbanites revel in this amazing science, which our sages left behind for us that is still applicable and effective.

So on Sunday, visit ‘Yog Utsav’ at Monalisa Kalagram from 10 am to 6.30 pm. You will have the opportunity to embrace and learn from different yoga masters and traditions, immerse in talks by eminent doctors, thought leaders, spiritual teachers, wellness and meditation experts.

‘Yog Utsav’ has a team of experienced and eminent speakers, who are doctors, nutrition and lifestyle coaches, sports physiotherapists, an expert on mindfulness and meditation, healers and senior yoga teachers and yoga therapists, who come from the lineages of TKV Desikachar, BKS Iyengar, Sivananda, Yin Yoga to name a few. Fun activities for kids, besides interesting sessions like medical yoga for spine and knee care, yoga for women, Chakra balancing, sound healing, kids yoga, acupressure therapy, introduction to rope and belt therapy, talks on meditation and mindfulness, yoga philosophy, breathing and pranayama, holistic lifestyle, balance and interconnectedness in body, strength yoga, yoga for runners, ayurveda and yoga, healing modalities, talk and demo on effects of asanas, importance of creating the dynamic foundation of human body v/s impact of leading a sedentary life.

The festival has been organised by Shilpa Padmanabhan, Sarika Salvi, Zahabbiya, Tanvi Tilve from Y’phoria, Yogsaar and Sanyuja Wellness. 

It will be held on Sunday from 10 am till 6.30 pm at Monalisa Kalagram, Lane 7, Koregaon Park, Pune.
