CISF plants 2,110 trees over three days


Pune: Apart from protecting Pune airport, the soldiers of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) are conserving the environment too. CISF personnel planted trees at Harantale and another area of Lohegaon, Pune with the co-ordination of Gram Panchayat Lohegaon and Forest Department for making environment green.

A total number of 2,110 trees have been planted by CISF in last three days. During the tree plantation, personnel undertook various awareness programmes to educate villagers about the importance of conservation of nature.

CISF unit head of Pune Airport Satish Bajpai, Deputy Commandant, CISF said they will keep doing such efforts to make environment nature-friendly. Deputy Commandant SK Bajpai, Assistant Commandant Anita Dalal, Inspector RK Agnihotri, Inspector Sunil Jadhav, Inspector Sanjay Kumar along with 40 CISF personnel took part in this plantation. On this occasion, CISF personnel made a resolution to keep the environment clean and green.
