PUNE: Commonwealth games gold medallist Rahul Aware interacted with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at Pune airport recently. Rahul shared tips regarding physical fitness and mental toughness.
26-year-old Rahul Aware won gold in 57 kg category of wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast in Australia on April 12.
In a gripping final bout against Canada’s Steven Takahashi, Aware won 15-7 despite struggling with injury in the latter half.
He narrated his struggle of life till the achievement of the gold medal and inspired CISF personnel to believe in never to die attitude to become successful in life.
He also thanked CISF for protecting the nation and making it proud by their duty.
He further said that he is also feeling privileged to be a part of the family of CISF.
SK Bajpai, Dy Commandant, CISF, congratulated Rahul Aware on his success in Commonwealth and wished he will make the whole nation proud in future by winning many more medals.
