CISF men spread awareness through ‘Swachta Hi Seva’

CISF launched Swachta campaign on September 15 and will continue till October 2. During this campaign, CISF will carry out a community-based mobilisation, awareness among the public, essay and painting competition for children, padyatra, yoga shivir and shramdhan

Pune: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel are not only providing security at Pune airport but also carrying out social activities like padyatras and shramdan to generate awareness among the public regarding cleanliness under ‘Swachta Hi Seva’ campaign recently.

CISF launched Swachta campaign on September 15 and will continue till October 2. During this campaign, CISF will carry out a community-based mobilisation, awareness among the public, essay and painting competition for children, padyatra, yoga shivir and shramdhan.

Satish Bajpai, Deputy Commandant CISF Unit Head of Pune airport told that they will keep taking efforts for betterment and cleanliness of the society.

“Personnel deployed at Pune airport feel happy to take efforts and generate awareness among public for cleanliness and take part in a cleanliness drive. It gives them an immense satisfaction that they are also contributing towards the social aspect of the society apart from just providing security,” he said. Earlier, CISF unit of Pune airport had planted around 2,100 plants in and around Lohegaon area towards their social responsibility to make the environment green and clean.
