Pune: On the fourth International Day of Yoga, the 343 units of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), including training institutions, reserve battalions, zonal, sector and force headquarters across the country will hold Yoga demonstrations.CISF personnel from Pune will also participate.
A mass Yoga demonstration is being organised at Dehradun (Uttrakhand) on June 21, wherein CISF personnel of Dehradun and Haridwar-based units will participate along with other fellow Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) personnel. CISF has been designated as the nodal force for CAPFs for this demonstration, wherein 1,000 CAPFs personnel will participate.
Around 2,000 CAPFs women personnel will participate in a Yoga demonstration at Red Fort on June 21 and women personnel from the Pune unit will also be present in New Delhi. CISF had also been designated as the nodal force to conduct Yoga demonstrations in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Around 1,000 CAPFs personnel will participate in the said demonstration at each location.
“On the eve of the fourth International Day of Yoga, conspicuous display of messages of Yoga by means of banners, posters, hoardings, etc, at respective locations and buildings to celebrate the observance of International Day of Yoga will be done by CISF to make the event a grand success,” said a CISF officer from New Delhi.
