CISF conducts cleanliness drive at Handicap School

Pune: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel recently fulfilled their social responsibility through a cleanliness drive under the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. The officials conducted a Swacchta Abhiyan at Government Multipurpose Group Complex Handicap Children School in Yerwada on August 23. Around 45 CISF personnel participated in the event.

The officials conducted a Swacchta Abhiyan at Government Multipurpose Group Complex Handicap Children School in Yerwada on August 23. Around 45 CISF personnel participated in the event. 

A staff member of this residential government school for specially-abled children said that CISF frequently carries out cleaning drives in the school. During the rainy season, dense growth of grass in the premises was cut to keep the area clean.

CISF unit head of Pune airport, Satish Bajpai, Deputy Commandant, CISF, said that they will keep making such efforts for the betterment and of society. “CISF personnel deployed at Pune airport feel happy to clean these areas, and it gives them immense satisfaction that they are also contributing towards the social aspect of the society, apart from providing security.”
