Christ College organises intercollegiate fest

Pune: A two-day intercollegiate fest ‘Impulse-18,’ held at the Christ College in the city, concluded on Saturday.
Inaugurating the fest, Dr Vijay Khare, Director, International Centre, SPPU, said students, after gaining new experiences, should reflect on how well they can contribute to society.

Christ College Director Rev Dr Sony J Chundattu CMI, in his address, urged the students to keep their enthusiasm burning throughout to make the best use of their potential and emerge as leaders of tomorrow. 
Impulse-18 saw active participation of over 40 junior and senior colleges from across Pune in events such as vocabulary quiz, debate, group dance, street play, elocution, paper presentation, mime, war of bands, techstorm, among others. 

Major colleges, including Christ College, St Vincent’s College of Commerce, College of Military Engineering, St Mira’s, Nowrosjee Wadia, JSPM, Indira College, Bishop’s Junior College, St Mary’s Junior College, Loyola Jr College, Mt Carmel, Symbiosis International, Rosary Junior College, Abeda Inamdar Jr College and College of Nursing Armed Forces Medical College, participated in the events.

For the closing ceremony held on Saturday, Guest of Honour, Papal Seminary Rector Rev Fr Bhausaheb Sansare SJ awarded the overall championship trophy for junior colleges to the Loyola Jr College and the championship trophy for senior colleges to the Christ College Pune.
