Children learn to make eco-friendly Ganpati idols at workshop

Considering the destruction of the environment and its ill-effects on human life, Sakal Media Group recently organised a workshop for making eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganpati for creating awareness among citizens about saving the environment

Pune: Considering the destruction of the environment and its ill-effects on human life, Sakal Media Group recently organised a workshop for making eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganpati for creating awareness among citizens about saving the environment.
 
Chetan Pansare of city-based Strokes Foundation along with Snehal Pansare and their subordinates imparted training of making Ganpati idols from Shadu Mati (clay) to the children participated in the event.
 
The workshop was inaugurated by Sushil Jadhav, Divisional Manager of Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited at CM International School in Balewadi.

Arun Arora, Director of Phoenix MarketCity, Viman Nagar; Shweta Sharma and Arun Ramanam, Marketing Manager of Pune Central Mall; Viraj Suryavanshi, Senior Marketing Manager of Westend Mall supported this event. Along with them, prominent organisations like Lokmanya Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited, City World School, Max Fashion and Clara Global School supported the event.
