PUNE: To reduce extra rush of passengers in trains, the Central Railway has decided to run extra special weekly trains from Pune to Ajni (Nagpur), Jammu Tawi, Gorakhpur, Manudadih till November 14.
“Two AC Superfast special weekly trains and two unreserved trains will be run during this period,” said a spokesperson of Central Railway.
Train number 01417 AC special from Pune to Ajni (Nagpur) will leave Pune at 9.45 pm on every Sunday from October 15 to 22, and arrive at Ajni at 1.40 pm on the next day. Similarly, train number 01418 AC special will leave Ajni at 4.15 pm on every Monday from October 16 to 23, and will arrive Pune at 6.15 am on the next day. The train will have 15 AC 3-tier coaches and will halt at Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon and Wardha.
Train number 02135 AC special from Pune to Jammu Tawi will leave Pune junction at 5.15 am on every Wednesday from October 11 to 25, and will arrive at Jammu Tawi at 6 pm on the next day. Similarly, train number 02166 AC special train will leave Jammu Tawi at 7.20 am on every Friday from October 13 to 27, and will arrive at Pune at 8.05 pm the next day. The train will halt at Lonavla, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Mathura, Delhi, Safdarjung, Ambala Cantt Jn, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt and Pathankot Cantt.
Train number 01453 Pune-Gorakhpur special will leave Pune at 7.55 pm on every Sunday from October 15 to November 5, and arrive at Gorakhpur at 4.35 am on the third day. Similarly, 01454 special will leave Gorakhpur at 7.30 am on every Tuesday from October 17 to November 7, and arrive at Pune at 5 pm on the next day. The train will have 22 general second class coaches, including guard and brake vans.
Train number 01403 Pune-Manduadih special will leave Pune at 10 pm on every Thursday from October 12 to November 2, and arrive at Manduadih at 3.25 am on the third day. Similarly, train number 01404 special will leave from Manduadih at 4.45 am on every Sunday from October 14 to November 4, and arrive at Pune at 9.15 am the next day. The train will halt Daund, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad, Allahabad City and Gyanpur.
