CCC officials nab three persons in job fraud

According to Senior Police Inspector Radhika Phadke of CCC, the three victims were asked to pay Rs 80,000 each for the jobs of software engineer. The victims received the offer letter from a multinational software company, but their joining date was frequently changed. 

PUNE: Officials of the Cyber Crime Cell (CCC) of the City Police Crime Branch have nabbed three persons allegedly involved in cheating three youths including a girl on the pretext of placing them in multinational software companies. 

The arrested accused have been identified as Chetan Kankekar (30), Prashant Pansare(25) and Riyaz Shaikh (31). 

According to Senior Police Inspector Radhika Phadke of CCC, the three victims were asked to pay Rs 80,000 each for the jobs of software engineer. The victims received the offer letter from a multinational software company, but their joining date was frequently changed. 

The victims suspected something fishy and approached the police to lodge a case in this regard. Officials of CCC found that the accused stay in Nanded City and accordingly a team of CCC officials raided Kanekar’s home and arrested the trio accused. 

The police said the victims had received calls from ‘Best HR Campus Services’ about the job offer. CCC officials are investigating the case.
