PUNE: Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Cambridge International School on October 2 with great enthusiasm. The tiny tots came dressed in khadi and cotton kurta-pyjamas as a mark of respect for Mahatma Gandhi, fondly known as Bapu.

The children were given a taste of co-operation and sense of involvement in the enactment of Dandi March, conducted within the school campus.

School Chairman Dhananjay Varnekar, Director Ram Raina, Principal Babita Nair and Vice-Principal Sarabjeet Kaur accompanied them. Activities related to the values of Mahatma Gandhi were conducted in the classes.
