Cambridge School celebrates Ashadhi Ekadashi

Pune: Cambridge International School celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi on July 3. The programme commenced with palkhi pooja and aarti, done by the school dignitaries. This was followed by the traditional ‘Dindi’ procession led by a palkhi carrying the photo of Lord Vitthal. 

Pune: Cambridge International School celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi on July 3. The programme commenced with palkhi pooja and aarti, done by the school dignitaries. This was followed by the traditional ‘Dindi’ procession led by a palkhi carrying the photo of Lord Vitthal. 

The palkhi procession marched from the school to Vitthal Rukmini Mandir. All students from standard 5 to 8 chanted the vedic mantras. The school coordinator also shared the importance of Ashadhi Ekadashi. Some students of the school spoke on Meera Bai and Sant Dnyaneshwar. The celebration ended with prasad distribution among the students and school faculties.
