Pune: Bahujan Republican Socialist Party (BRSP) will be taking out a ‘Halla Bol morcha’ on June 29 protesting against the government and Forest Department’s action of demolishing 200 houses of tribals in Junnar taluka.

Sarvjeet Bansode, Organiser, BRSP while speaking to the media at a press conference, said, “The morcha will start from Shivneri Fort at 11 am on June 29 and Suresh Mane, National Organiser of BRSP will lead it. It all started when the tribals revolted against the system and the Forest Department and administration brought JCB machines and demolished their houses.”

He added, “The condition of Other Backward Castes (OBC) and tribals is worst. We are taking out the march because we want to make the common public aware about the fact that in Maharashtra there are 1.5 crore and in the country more than 15 crore tribals living in very bad conditions. We tried reaching the State authorities and government but we got no response from them.”
