British Council Pune organises programmes for young and old
Makers Club will be organising a workshop on Printmaking with a Peacock theme for everybody above the age of 12 years
Pune: British Council Pune, at its newly inaugurated cultural centre, has organised several programmes for the month of October.
Under its new initiative Cafe Scientifique, an event 'Science Bites on Gravitational Wave Astronomy' was held on October 6 by Sanjit Mishra of IUCAA.
On October 7, there will be a SparQ session on 'British Music' from 6 pm to 7 pm. The event, which will talk about the history of British music, is conducted by 'Choose to Think' and is free and open to all.
Madhura Pendse will be organising 'I wandered lonely... drawing daffodils in Indian miniature fashion' on October 14 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The workshop is for everybody above the age of 10 and fees for the same is Rs 500 for members and Rs 750 for non-members.
Makers Club will be organising a workshop on Printmaking with a Peacock theme for everybody above the age of 12 years, on October 28. The fees for the workshop are same as above.
