BoM conducts cleanliness drive outside office bldg

PUNE: The Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) organised a cleanliness drive at their Lokmangal building office and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on Monday. 

Led by RP Marathe, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bank of Maharashtra, a large number of employees of the bank cleaned the main road outside the head office at Shivajinagar and pledged to keep the environment clean. 

Marathe said, “This year, the bank is celebrating the theme ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa’ to promote the importance of hygiene in our lives. We hope the bank’s initiative inspires the locals to keep the surroundings clean and beautiful”.

“The banks are also required to clean up the NPAs and help build a robust banking system. We have been taking efforts constantly in this regard and our performance in the second quarter is indicative of that. The NPA recovery has improved and CASA ratio remained stable,” he further added.

AC Rout, Executive Director, Bank of Maharashtra, General Managers, Zonal Managers along with the staff from the head office and zonal offices and branches were present.
