PIMPRI: BJP’s old loyalists here have formed Atal Behari Vajpayee Vichar Manch to seek a better deal to the party loyalists. The Manch on Sunday felicitated party loyalists who have been rewarded with coveted posts in Parliament, in the State and in the city.
Atal Behari Vajpayee Vichar Manch which held its first formal function at the Auto Cluster in Chinchwad felicitated MP Amar Sabale for his re-appointment as the party’s whip in the Rajya Sabha.
Speaking at the function, Sabale assured that he will work towards rewarding those activists who have been working for the party for a long time.
The others who were felicitated at the function included State Public Accounts Committee Chairman Sachin Patwardhan, Pimpri-Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (Pradhikaran) Chairman Sadashiv Khade, Lokshahir Anna Bhau Sathe Development Corporation’s Chairman Amit Gorkhe and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) Standing Committee Chairman Vilas Madigeri.
All those felicitated are party loyalists.
The others present at the programme included Leader of the House in PCMC Eknath Pawar, Pratibha Lokhande, Madhu Joshi, former corporator Uma Khapare, Mahesh Kulkarni, Namdeo Dake, Ravi Landge, Sandeep Waghire, Anuradha Gorkhe, Sandeep Kaspate, Dr Balkrishna Naik.
The BJP’s 18 sitting corporators also attended the function.
