BJP’s city unit celebrates party’s win in Guj, Himachal

Pune: As the news of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) win in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh state assemblies started pouring in, the mood at the city party office was jubilant. The win was celebrated with the bursting of firecrackers and sloganeering for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sweets too were distributed on the occasion at party’s Kasba Peth office.

Pune: As the news of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) win in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh state assemblies started pouring in, the mood at the city party office was jubilant. The win was celebrated with the bursting of firecrackers and sloganeering for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sweets too were distributed on the occasion at party’s Kasba Peth office.

BJP city unit chief Yogesh Gogawale said, “This victory shows that the people of the country are with Prime Minister Modi and his development agenda in Gujarat. This journey of development will continue all over the country and the victory has boosted the morale of BJP workers across the country.”

City BJP MP Anil Shirole said, “People have witnessed development in Gujrat for last 22 years, therefore, they have given their mandate in favour of development. Tough decisions like demonetisation and GST were needed for financial discipline in the country. The victory in Himachal also shows that people of Himachal want to join the journey of development that PM Modi has started in the country.”

BJP leader in PMC house Shrinath Bhimale said, “This is a victory of developmental politics of BJP. The number of seats keeps changing, but this is a decisive mandate for the party. We are going to focus on the development of the city following the footsteps of PM Modi.”

In Pimpri Chinchwad also, the city unit of the party celebrated the victory at Dr Ambedkar Chowk in Pimpri. BJP city unit chief and MLA Laxman Jagtap said, “This result has indicated that the decision to implement demonetisation and GST was right decision required for the development of the country. Although, Congress tried hard to spread negativity about these two decisions, the people have voted for the BJP.”
