Pune: Bisleri is associated with Sakal as the exclusive hydration partner for the Sakal Schoolympics 2017 held in Pune. Being the hydration partner, Bisleri took charge of absolute water requirements and made certain that all the young athletes participating in different sport events have access to safe drinking water.
Bisleri set up 128 water stations on the field to ensure that the children were well hydrated at this 32 days long event.
Of all the elements involved in any sport, hydration is one of the most important factors of all. Water is the best drink that people can give to their bodies. Water is not only a fundamental part of our body but has number of health benefits that can impact an athlete’s performance. This association gave an ideal platform to the brand to connect with children and let them know that Bisleri cares for their health.
Apart from Bisleri’s mission to ensure access to safe drinking water for every Indian, there is an endeavor to give back to the community at large and keep our environment healthy and clean via PET recycling.
There is a conscious effort towards correct disposal and recycling of used PET bottles. In fact, On October 4, 2015, Bisleri entered the Guinness World Records for collecting highest number of PET bottles for recycling, through a school contact programme reaching out to over 2 lakh students and collecting 1.1 million PET bottles.
