Bishop’s School asks PCB to build foot over bridge in Camp

Joel Edwin, Principal of Bishop’s School, Camp, said, “We had asked the PCB to construct a foot over bridge as our campus is on both the sides of the road and it becomes a huge problem for our students to cross the road.”

PUNE: Authorities of the Bishop’s School, Camp have asked the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) to construct a foot over bridge (FOB) for their students’ safety as their campus is located on both the sides of Stanley Road.

Joel Edwin, Principal of Bishop’s School, Camp, said, “We had asked the PCB to construct a foot over bridge as our campus is on both the sides of the road and it becomes a huge problem for our students to cross the road.”

“We have received the permission from the army and structural drawing has been also sent to the army by PCB. We are hoping that the bridge gets constructed soon,” the principal further added.

DN Yadav, Chief Executive Officer of PCB, said, “We will hold a board meeting soon to finalise this as well as various other projects. This is an important project above all, as the issues concerns the safety of the students of the school.”

“The school has earlier sent the structural design to us and we forwarded it to the army. The army had given the design back to the school to reconsider it. The project will be completed in a short time,” Yadav further informed.
