Bhoi Pratishthan to organise festival of colours for underprivileged kids

Pune: Late Shankarrao Bhoi Smruti Pratishthan will organise the 22nd edition of 'Rang Barse' for underprivileged children on the grounds of Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya on March 2, Friday, from 9 am to 12 pm. About 1,200 children from organisations like Eklavya, Swadhar, Samarpan, Sahaydri Trust, Bachpan World Forum, Identity Foundation, Vanchit Vikas Sanstha, Louis Braille Blind Children organisation, and Santulan Pashan School are some of the organisations taking part in this event.

At a press conference, the organisers said environment-friendly colours will be used. People from political, cultural, governmental and film background will be present to double the joy of children.

Speaking at a press conference, Dr Milind Bhoi, President, Late Shankarrao Bhoi Smruti Pratishthan, said, “The songs that will be played at the event and the food that will be served to the children are selected by children themselves.”
