Base maintenance service takes off at Pune airport

Pune: To provide service to customers with complete transparency, a base maintenance service started at Pune airport recently. The service is for private business aircraft at the airport. 

The maintenance service will be provided by Bird ExecuJet airport service. This is an expansion by the company with a vision to provide the highest level of service excellence and a one-stop solution for maintenance service.

“We aim to provide world-class maintenance service with complete transparency to our customers. With our presence at Pune airport, customers from the region will now have an option to avail our 24-hour support service with a minimum downtime and with no compromise in terms of flight safety. Aircraft reliability and transparency in maintenance is our motto,” said Anurag Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer of Bird ExecuJet, after starting the service.

Specialising in servicing airframe, avionics and engines, the company’s aircraft technicians are certified for a wide range of business jets and utility aircraft, including Cessna, Gulfstream, Hawker, Super King Air, Avanti P180, Falcon 2000/Exeasy, Global, Bell, amongst others.

“The base reflects the highest standard of quality being adopted by the organisation. Their consistent commitment to uncompromising service excellence and quality workmanship will ensure efficient, reliable and safe operation of all our aircraft,” said a top officer from the operator’s side, on the condition of anonymity.

The service has started with five employees at the airport. This number will increase after demand for service.

“There are several private aircraft at Pune airport and they need regular maintenance. This will help these aircraft to fly without interrupting any other airline services,” said a senior official of Pune airport.
