PUNE: Balgandharva Rangmandir will celebrate its 50 years, and there will be various programmes arranged from June 24 to 28. There will be no entry fee for the programmes.
Programmes have been arranged from 9 am to 1 am, which includes lavni, magic show, children’s play, music show, a recital of abhang, storytelling, mono act, orchestra and much more. From last ten years, the anniversary event takes places only for two days while this year, it is for five days where 30 programmes will be showcased.
On June 25 at 11 am, the event will be inaugurated by Sharad Pawar, Cabinet Minister Girish Bapat, Mayor Mukta Tilak along with others. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to the famous actress, Rohini Hattangadi, by the hands of Sharad Pawar.
On June 24 at 2 pm, a procession will be carried out from Balgandhrava Rangmandir to Shanivarwada, where social messages will be communicated to the masses. Actor Subodh Bhave and actress Mukta Barve will attend the procession.
