Association of Muslim Professionals invites applications for scholarships

AMP has initiated the ‘Scholarship Fund’ to provide monetary support to genuinely needy Muslims for higher and technical education.

PUNE: Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) has invited applications for Higher Scholarship Fund for 2017.

AMP has initiated the ‘Scholarship Fund’ to provide monetary support to genuinely needy Muslims for higher and technical education. 

It is open to students belonging to economically poor families for pursuing higher professional education (Medicine/ Engineering/Architecture/Chartered Accountancy) in a government or private college/university, recognised by UGC/AICTE. It would also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at graduation level.

The candidates could be provided with up to 100 per cent scholarship per year, depending on the genuine need of the case. Preference will be given to the candidates who pursue higher education in the professional disciplines of Medical, Law, Journalism, Engineering, with special preference given to top universities or colleges in India like IITs, IIMs, IISC or GLC and others. 

Interested candidates can apply by filling up the mandatory online form at http://www.ampindia.org/HigherEducationScholarshipForm. They need to attach scanned copies of all relevant documents/mark sheets/certificates and send them via email to scholarships@ampindia.org. The last date of registering for the scholarship is August 5.
