Arrested accused in triple murder case sent to police custody

Pune: The 34-year-old accused, Vikram Pardesi, arrested in the triple murder case in Ganesh Peth was remanded in police custody till March 6. Vikram was produced in the court on Sunday. On Friday night, bodies of three persons including a minor was found with several injury marks in he water of Nagzari nala under Daruwalla bridge in Ganesh Peth. 

Pune: The 34-year-old accused, Vikram Pardesi, arrested in the triple murder case in Ganesh Peth was remanded in police custody till March 6. Vikram was produced in the court on Sunday. On Friday night, bodies of three persons including a minor was found with several injury marks in he water of Nagzari nala under Daruwalla bridge in Ganesh Peth. 

The police were successful in identifying two bodies as Naved Shaikh (15) of Ganesh Peth and Sandeep Avasare (38). Police Inspector Balkrushna Ambure of Farashkhana police station said that Vikram was arrested based on strong leads. "Our investigation in progress and we are trying to find if other accused are involved in the case. Vikram too is a ragpicker," added Ambure.

Advocate Tosif Shaikh and BA Aloor represented for the accused in the court. Shaikh said that Vikram was not in a sound state of mind when he was arrested.
