Around 5000 automobiles were sold on Gudhi Padwa

According to the parivahan.gov.in website, the RTO officials said that the registration was brisk for the last three days. Vehicle registration has been brisk since the last three days, with 3,235 motorcycles and 1,872 cars being registered.

PUNE: On Gudhi Padwa this year, Pune RTO saw the registration of 5,540 vehicles. Gudi Padwa, which marks the start of the Maharashtrian New Year, witnesses brisk purchase of vehicles, gold and real estate bookings.

According to the parivahan.gov.in website, the RTO officials said that the registration was brisk for the last three days. Vehicle registration has been brisk since the last three days, with 3,235 motorcycles and 1,872 cars being registered. The RTO garnered Rs 23.91 crore in various taxes in the last three days.

Last year on this occasion, the RTO had witnessed registration of 3,233 motorcycles and 1,036 cars. The RTO had collected Rs 9,43,26,930 in various taxes during this period.
