Pune: With great enthusiasm, the Indian Army units in Pune participated wholeheartedly in the 'International Yoga Day' event on Wednesday.
At Pune Cantonment, the Yoga Day was celebrated at Milkha Singh Sports Complex which was attended by all ranks and their families. Centralised yogasanas were performed as per the laid down 'common yoga protocol.'

The Indian Army has recognised the importance of this centuries-old practice of yoga as an effective stress buster and an alternative physical regime. It encourages its soldiers to learn and adopt various yogic techniques to improve mental concentration at work and develop a positive outlook towards life.
