Residents are stalling constructive dialogue, says developer. The residents alleged that the developer is deliberately ignoring their demands for more than one year.

Pune: The residents of Amanora Future Park Towers conducted an agitation outside the developer’s sales office in Hadapsar for not providing facilities which were promised to them and for delaying the housing project.

The residents alleged that the developer is deliberately  ignoring their demands for more than one year. However, Amanora has denied the allegations and assured them of resolving this issue by appointing a third party agency.

After the agitation on Saturday, the residents issued a press release mentioning, “Amanora City Corporation Company assured us of providing facilities mentioned in brochure. They delayed the project and now they are trying to complete it in a hurry. They are taking cluster fund and maintenance charges but not conducting audit. We requested Director Aniruddha Deshpande to address all this issues from last one year. However, nothing has happened yet.”

Adv Trimbak Khopade, a resident of Amanora Future Park said, “Amanora Park officials are deliberately ignoring our demand. So, we have no other choice to conduct agitation. We conducted it on Saturday and now officials have given us assurance to meet us and discuss the issues.”

Amanora Park officials said they appreciate residents’ right to protest but claimed the residents have conveniently neglected the management’s suggestion to involve an unbiased third party to resolve these matters.

The press release issued by the developer said Future Tower owner’s Volunteer Group (FTOVGP), for some reasons, does not want have constructive dialogue and that their self-appointed leaders continue to mislead citizens with malice. The developer claimed that most Amanora residents are suspicious of FTOVGP’s motive.

The developer said the residents are appealing to other residents of the township not to pay maintenance charges to the company. Therefore it is evident that they are not interested in resolving their issues through the third party and are only trying to avoid paying maintenance charges to the company.
