Admission process at Karve Institute begins

Pune: The admission process for masters in social work (MSW) course affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) at Karve Institute of Social Service (KISS) has begun. The last date for the application is June 11. 

The entrance test will be held on June 19. Final interview and group discussion round will take place on June 21,” said a press communique.

It is a full-time course with four semester pattern with the choice based credit system. Institute offers four specialisation subjects like family and child welfare (FCW), human resource management (HRM), medical and psychiatric social work (MPSW) and urban and rural community development (URCD), CBCS-Choice Based Credit System, 
with generic, specialisation, multiple and across specialisation choice based subjects. 

The candidates, who are graduates of any stream or have appeared for any degree examination in 2018, are eligible to apply and appear for the admission test. Pune University degree holders are given preference as per the rule. 

The admission to MSW programme will be given after qualifying for the nation-wide entrance examination, informed director Deepak Walokar. 
Admission forms are available online. Interested candidates can log on to www.karve-institute.org or can submit the filled form in the college office during office hours.
