Admission process for 2nd yr BPharm course starts today

PUNE: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released a circular thats declares that the application process for the direct admissions to the second-year full-time undergraduate degree course in Pharmacy (BPharm) through CET for 2018-19 will begin on Monday. The last date to apply is July 16.

After the document verification process and confirmation by the CET Cell, the final merit list will be displayed on July 20.

Those who have passed diploma course in pharmacy with at least 45 per cent marks (at least 40 pc marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra only) from an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State government approved institution or its equivalent are eligible to apply.

The candidates should apply online on the website <http://www.mahacet.org/dsp2018> as per the prescribed schedule.

All candidates aspiring for admission under CAP seats shall register, get documents verified and application form confirmed at any designated facilitation centre.

The candidates who wish to get admission through the institutional quota, or in the seats that are remaining vacant after CAP, also need to get registered, get their documents verified and get confirmation of their application at facilitation centres. They also need to apply separately to institutes for admissions to seats other than CAP seats and their merit list will be prepared by the institute at the institute level.

If any candidate fails to confirm the online filled application form at the facilitation centres, then their applications will be rejected and their names will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of admission for both ‘CAP’ as well as ‘non-CAP’ process.
