Accused involved in stealing mobile phones from Amazon nabbed

Pune: Officials of the Crime Branch Unit I has arrested the accused involved in several mobile theft cases from Amazon. 
The arrested accused has been identified as Suraj Kadam (25).

According to information given by Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Dahane, officials from Amazon company had lodged a case of 234 mobile theft cases. 

Accordingly, officials of Crime Branch were working on the case. "Police Sub-Inspector Dinesh Patil received a tip-off about the accused. Accordingly a team of Crime Branch Unit I headed by Police Inspector Nitin Bhosale Patil nabbed the accused from Bhairav Nagar area near Tingare Nagar. Kadam was carrying four mobile phones with him. On interrogation 41 stolen mobile phones worth Rs 10 lakh were recovered from the accused," added Dahane. 

Assistant Commissioner of Police Sameer Shaikh said that the accused was working with Amazon from past one year. "He would steal the phones from large stock of phones from Amazon which would come for delivery to the customers," added Shaikh. 

The accused has sold several phones in Mumbai and Pune at cheap rates.
