5-year-old boy dies in mishap in Hinjawadi

A five-year-old boy died in a mishap at Jambe Sanwade Road on Thursday evening. A case in this regard was registered at Hinjawadi police station. The deceased boy was identified as Sangharsh More, a resident of Jambe Gaon. 

Pune: A five-year-old boy died in a mishap at Jambe Sanwade Road on Thursday evening. A case in this regard was registered at Hinjawadi police station. The deceased boy was identified as Sangharsh More, a resident of Jambe Gaon. 

The deceased boy was rammed to death by a car while he was playing outside his home on Thursday evening. Police have registered a case against the car driver, who has been identified as Somnath Raakshe, a resident of Sangawade. According to the information provided by Hinjawadi police, it was reported that Raakshe was driving recklessly; he couldn’t control his vehicle and hit the five-year-old boy. 

The deceased boy received severe injuries and succumbed to his injuries. Police has booked the accused under section 304 A (Causing death by negligence)of IPC.
