4 arrested for murdering 32-yr-old youth in Junnar

Pune: Investigations in a suspected case of murder by the Pune rural police led to the arrest of four persons in Manjarwadi village of Junnar taluka.

A 32-year-old youth Vikas Khandagale died in the month of April last year. According to the Pune rural police, the family members of Khandagale told the police that it was a case of natural death. However police investigations revealed that  Khandagale was beaten to death by four persons. The police have arrested Deepak Gorde, Amol Ganjve, Deepak Suravar and Pramod Karanjkhale in the case.
 
Following the death of Khandagale, police officials were looking for clues to crack the case. A team of police officials including Police Inspector Padmakar Ghanvat and Assistant Police Inspector Ravindra Manjre were investigating the case. During investigation, the police found that Khandagale was abusing his wife and suspected her of having an illicit affair with Pramod. Khandagale would also assault his wife and his mother. Following which the four accused took Khandagale to a farm and assaulted him with sticks and a belt, leading to his death. Assistant Police Inspector Arjun Ghode of Narayangaon police station  is investigating the case.
